International Renaissance Festival 2017
International Renaissance Festival 2017 took place between 7th-11th June, 2017 in Lublin!
During the festival we enjoyed performances of well known historical music and dance groups, such as Remdih from the Czech Republic; Pavanilia Ensemble from Warsaw; Old Dance Ensemble of the Wroclaw University; Ana Yepes - dancer, choreographer, researcher into dance (universities in Madrid and Hague) an dance teacher (Guildhall School of Music & Drama, Collège de Sorbonne), founder of Ensemble Donaires ballet group; and the only professional Polish comedy dell'arte group - The Comedians Troupe from Cracow. All the artists took part in educational activities and presented their shows in historical part of Lublin
The Festival events took place in the areas of Lublin Castle and The Dominican Monastery in Lublin.

They call themselves 'Medieval ZZ Top. Historical music ensemble well known in whole Europe, presenting a wide spectrum of genres - from drinking and love songs, through spiritual harmonies and courtly dances. See them in June in Lublin on the International Renaissance Festival!
Choreographer, dancer, dance teacher and musician, Ana Yepes toured Europe,America and Japan. During the International Renaissance Festival she will provide historical courtly dances classes for advanced dancers.
Dono Studio and The Comedians Troupe. International group of artists specializing in commedia dell'arte. This theatrical form originated in 16th century Italy, becoming the first professional theatre in modern Europe. Picturesque, vivid characters set in brilliant, often improvised, storylines is great fun to watch no matter what age we live in. You can see it for yourself in June during the International Renaissance Festival in Lublin!
'Middle-aged' group of musicians, as they sometimes call themselves.Basing on Western medieval courtly tradition they investigate the time-spacecontinuum between the Middle Ages and country fair. Their repertoire includeschivalric, solemn, satirical and frivolous songs, old 'feasting music',as well as the songs you can still sometimes hear when you find yourself on a crusade - and this June on the International Renaissance Festival in Lublin!
Akademia Tańca Dawnego
A group of people passionate about reconstruction of dances as well as everyday life in past epochs. During the International Renaissance Festival they will presnt a Renaissance play Gillieta of Narbonne.
Historical Music Ensemble 'Alta'. During the International Renaissance Festival they will perform HEBDOMAS - a collection of songs by Lublin composer and poet, Sebastian Klonowic, from 1581.
