International Renaissance Festival 2018
Second edition of the International Renaissance Festival is an outstanding event during which we will travel in time to the Golden Age. It is an encounter with dance, music, theatre, living history and flag juggling.
Second edition of the International Renaissance Festival is an outstanding event during which we will travel in time to the Golden Age. It is an encounter with dance, music, theatre, living history and flag juggling.
The main theme of this years festival will be the 600th anniversary of the creation of the frescos in the Lublin's Castle St. Trinity's Chapel.
During the festival we want to invite you to artistic and dance workshops, lectures, city game and themathical guided tours around Lublin.
Main attraction of the festival will be performances by the music and dance groups, as well as commedia dell&aposarte theatre.
Musical groups who are going to help us in time travel will be: Lity Taler from Minsk, Fleurdelis, "Huskarl" from Gniezno, La Folia from Lublin. Dance and theatrical performances will be presented by groups such as Ver Vetustatis, Akademia Tańca Dawnego from Warsaw, "Capella Nicopolensis" from Mikołów, and the hosts. The dell'arte comedy will be presented by the only Polish group specializing in dell'arte - Komedianty Troupe from Cracow.
The Festival events will be taking place in the areas of Lublin Castle and The Dominican Monastery in Lublin.
Admission to all events is free!
