International Renaissance Festival 2018

International Renaissance Festival 2018 took place between 8th-10th June, 2018 in Lublin!

The main theme of the festival was the 600th anniversary of the creation of the frescos in the Lublin's Castle St. Trinity's Chapel.

During the festival the public could enjoy artistic and dance workshops, lectures, city game and themathical guided tours around Lublin.

The groups who helped us in time travel were: Lity Taler from Minsk, Fleurdelis, "Huskarl" from Gniezno, La Folia from Lublin, Ver Vetustatis, Akademia Tańca Dawnego from Warsaw, "Capella Nicopolensis" from Mikołów, and the hosts,Komedianty Troupe from Cracow.

The Festival events took place in the areas of Lublin Castle and The Dominican Monastery in Lublin.

This theatrical form originated in 16th century Italy, becoming the first professional theatre in modern Europe. Picturesque, vivid characters set in brilliant, often improvised, storylines is great fun to watch no matter what age we live in. You can see it for yourself in June during the International Renaissance Festival in Lublin!
